Medium sized Adze, the stone appears very dark almost black where it has been worked but the natural colour is light grey heavily speckled with tiny white spots.
A small circular depression has been drilled into the top surface of the Adze, above the cutting edge.
The piece has a rounded handle worked and squared off rises and terminates in a fine sharp cutting edge.
