Large greenstone Hei-Tiki figure of traditional form. Large skull like head - tilted so that it is resting on the figures right shoulder.
Chest thrown out and elbows away from the body, hands resting on upper thighs and feet together.
Generally the Tiki is well shaped and it's exterior surfaces well polished, the greenstone is of a very pale, milky shade of green.
Thought to have been worn for at lest five generations before 1840 found in a Maori grave on Karikari Peninsula.
