Physical description
Medium-sized circular dish with lightly scalloped sides. The underside of the dish is fluted, running down into a small base. The main decorative motif is an open flower petal, starting in the base and gradually enlarging as it runs up the sides. The bowl of the dish has been painted/glazed a golden-orange colour (which gives a mother of pearl sheen when the light hits it at an angle). No visible markings.
