Physical description
This piece is basically a conventional large tea pot, with large spout and handle, moulded from an off white ceramic. This round form pot is partially sealed into a round, two piece thin metal cover which envelopes the whole pot, apart from the handle and spout. The metal cover has a thin inner lining of hessian, while the bottom has four wooden 'bun' feet. The metal cover is hinged on one side, so once the latch is undone the entire top half of the cover can be swung away and the tea pot can be removed for cleaning. The metal cover is chromium plated and is marked on the underside -
