Part of the Lois Ryan Collection. 17 Ladies Hats and a retailer bag from Vegar's.

1) Moulded White Felt skull shape hat with an embroided spray of beads and sequins (1950)

2) Moulded Straw Hat, light brown with satin ribbon. Brim is woven, raffia type material.

3) Aqua coloured chiffon fabric, shaped on stiffened straw head cover (Label - Jacoll Hat, NZ)

4) Close fitted skull shape hat, apricot in colour, flowers with light pink petals. (Kay Marie label)

5) Cream Taffeta material pleated over shape like a Beret.

6) White tiff straw like hat with woven plastic band (1973?)

7) Faded blue straw hat with ruched ribbon band.

8) Dark Cream Straw Hat with brim covered with a cream net material (tule)

9) White Straw moulded hat with brim. Dark green wide ribbon band.

10) Cream Straw Hat with imitation white flowers (Miss Auckland Hat Shop)

11) Cream Straw Hat with one fawn brown silk flower.

12) Gainsborough Black Straw Hat with wide brim at front, black gosgrain ribbon band. Spray of artificial flowers on the side.

13) Yellow Fur Felt Hat with felt bow. Two fine feathers attached.

14) Purple coloured straw hat shaped with a folded edge. Some net and a spray of imitation violets and leaves. MK Product

15) Green Straw Hat with brim. Ribbon band.

16) Fawn Straw Hat, edged with bronze coloured satin and wide band. (Martina Label)

17) Navy Blue Straw Hat, wide brim. Underside covered in white lace. White velvet ribbon band. (Wadely Creation, Auckland). In paper bag from retailer 'Vegar's', Kaitaia.
