Description
Series of five acrylic paintings, on canvas. Paintings based on Northland Taonga for Theresa Reihana exhibition January 16-19 at Far North Regional Museum, 2009. Works are based on the significant museum collectors and their collections.
Four identical small banners with hei tiki and words of poem called Whakakiteana ia Ratou (Discovering Them) printed on them in silver text. Also printed with: 'We are the guardians of our own destiny'.
Exhibition catalogue with poem, text and coloured images of paintings and some of the original taonga the paintings are based on.
