Description
Toki pounamu, greenstone adze; small piece, has a flat smooth ridge on the top-side of the toki and forms an obtuse angled triangle at the rear, the toki is smooth with indentations that run along the brown and white specks of colour.
The front face of the toki is long with a tipped curved blunt blade edge. The curved blade is slightly translucent with shades of light green and yellow-brownish colour. The end section of the front face of the toki has a large chip and is discoloured brown with a small vein line towards the centre it is 20 mm long. The opposite end of the curved blade is jagged and blunt.
