Physical description
The top two shelves of the four shelf large display case are covered in small, medium and large pieces of kauri gum (and two boxes of kauri gum "hair"). All the pieces have been cut and polished to a near transparent surface, except for one piece, which has been shaped in to the head of a Maori warrior. Specimens of almost all the colours & grades of kauri gum are represented.
