Physical description
Large circular plate, two sides of its rim have been slightly extended, then pierced, to form small handles. Moulded from white ceramic, the plate does have some integrally moulded decoration around the rim. The main decorations are five transfer print floral motifs, featuring red, blue and yellow flowers, parts of these motifs have been highlighted with gilt paint. The moulded decoration around the handles has also been picked out with gilt paint, while a continuous gilt line runs around the rim.
