Physical description
Dog-Wood Walking Stick - the piece of timber was over 12' long and had a fungi disease. Mr Alf Burling from Kawakawa was the original owner of the walking stick. The timber was found at a Kauri Bush at Waikere near Waikere near 55 years ago. It was made into a walking stick by Mr Traw (maori) from that area. (approx 1935)
