Physical description
Serena is based on the character created by Dame Barbara Cartland for her book Hazard Hearts.

Crafted in fine porcelain and hand-painted, Serena is gowned in a regency style dress of pink jacquard, trimmed with gold lamé. Her overskirt is is accented with hundreds of tiny faux pearls which also adorn her hair. It has lace trimmed sleeves and mauve satin rosettes. She carries a fan also made of mauve satin and lace with the guards and sticks made of gold coloured metal.

This doll was designed and distributed by Franklin Mint Heirloom Dolls in 1988.
